Go-To Doc is a medical group with more than 20 years in the Riviera Maya. A video consultation is a third way to be seen, alongside the clinic visit and the house call: the same team, the same medical history.

If during the video consultation the doctor sees that your case needs a physical examination, they tell you and we arrange a clinic or house-call visit. We don’t leave you halfway.
A valid electronic prescription
When the case calls for it, the doctor issues your digitally signed electronic prescription using the SAT’s e.firma. It carries a security seal and a scannable QR code so its authenticity can be verified — not an improvised note or a photo sent by message.
Some medications, because of how they are classified, cannot be prescribed remotely. If your treatment is one of those, the doctor tells you and we arrange an in-person or house-call visit.
Is it a serious emergency?
For chest pain, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, heavy bleeding or a serious accident, call emergency services (911) or go to the nearest hospital. Video consultations are for general medicine and cases that can be assessed remotely.

Just your phone or computer with a camera and internet. We send you the link; if that’s tricky, we can do it over WhatsApp video instead.
Can you give me a prescription?
Yes. The doctor issues a digitally signed electronic prescription using the SAT’s e.firma, with a security seal and a QR code to verify its authenticity. If your treatment needs a medication that, by its classification, cannot be prescribed remotely, we tell you and arrange an in-person visit.
Do you attend in English?
Yes. We see patients in Spanish and English, and Dr. Bernardo also in Italian.
Can I request a video consultation if I'm not in the Riviera Maya?
